Who is responsible for your data
John Akinmade, trading as CLEARANCE, based in the United Kingdom, is the data controller for the information described here. Questions or requests: john@akinmade.co.uk.
What we collect directly
When you use CLEARANCE, we collect:
- Your assessment answers. The information you enter about your organisation's AI deployment, decision points, and data flows, used to generate your report.
- Your email address. Used to deliver your report and to reply if you contact us.
There is no account and no login, so we do not build up an ongoing profile of you beyond what is needed to generate and deliver a given report.
Payment: handled by Stripe, not by us
Payment is processed directly by Stripe, our payment provider. We do not see, receive, or store your card details at any point. Stripe may pass us confirmation that payment succeeded, together with basic transaction information such as the amount and a reference number. Stripe has its own privacy policy governing how it handles your payment details.
Who else sees your information
We use a small number of service providers to actually run CLEARANCE. None of them are permitted to use your information for their own purposes.

How long we keep it
We keep your assessment answers only for as long as needed to generate and deliver your report, and to handle any follow-up query you raise about it. We do not use your answers for marketing, and we do not sell or share them with anyone outside the providers listed above.
Enquiries, free checks and follow-up emails
If you send a partner enquiry, or ask us to email you a copy of a free check result, we collect your email address, any details you choose to add (such as your name, organisation and who the check is for), and the result of that check. We use this to reply, to send you a copy of your result, and to send at most two short follow-up emails. Every email has a one-click opt out, and replying "stop" works too.
These details are stored in a Google Sheet in our Google account and the emails are sent from Gmail, so Google acts as our service provider for them. If you arrived through a partner's link, we record the partner's reference for that visit so the partner can be credited; this is held only in your browser session and cleared when you close it. We keep enquiry records for up to 24 months after our last contact, then delete them. Agentforce agent files sent for an Agent Authority Record are used only to produce the findings, seen only by John Akinmade, deleted within 30 days unless you ask us to keep them, and never used to train AI. The free checks themselves run entirely in your browser: nothing you answer is sent anywhere unless you ask us to email you the result.
Cookies and this website
The CLEARANCE website loads fonts from Google Fonts, which involves your browser contacting Google's servers. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies on this site.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law, you can ask us to:
- show you what information we hold about you
- correct anything that's inaccurate
- delete your information, where we're not required to keep it for another legal reason
- explain how a particular piece of information is used
